Béton House is approximately a 7-minute walk from Sheffield Hallam University's City Campus. The University of Sheffield is approximately 1.2 miles (1.9 kilometers) from Béton House, which is about a 24-minute walk.
If you have gone through clearing and now have a place at University, you can still book accommodation with us. Check the room availability above, or call us on 01135311000.
Yes, please screenshot your rejection letter from UCAS along with your name and reference number. Send them to betonhouse@pfpstudents.co.uk within 3 working days to receive your full deposit back.
Yes! As standard, all Derwent's students are automatically covered by the #1 Student insurer, Endsleigh. However this cover may not be sufficient for your needs, for example if you have expensive computers and smart phones so we strongly recommend you review your policy and upgrade your cover if you feel you need it. Visit endsleigh's website to check your policy details.

You are responsible for cleaning your room and for cleaning your communal areas with your flatmates.

The on-site laundry room is available to residents.
Yes, you can personalise your room with accessories and bedding, but you must not make permanent changes (e.g. painting walls, using nails, or making modifications that cannot be undone). We ask that you don't attach anything to your walls or ceilings as any damage caused will be chargeable.
Guests are permitted for a maximum of 2 consecutive nights. Please sign them in at reception on arrival.
Yes, Béton House has secure bike storage facilities available for residents.
You can collect your post from the parcel lockers or the designated reception area at Béton House.
You can visit reception to inform us of the issue. You will be given a number to ring for emergency repairs out of hours.
You can request to move, but this will depend on availability. Please note that there is a £50 admin fee.
Yes, you need a TV licence if you watch live TV or BBC iPlayer, even on a laptop or mobile device.
Béton House provides a communal lounge, study spaces, a gym, a laundry room, secure bike storage, and social spaces.
Due to security issues and cleaning obligations, we cannot store your possessions over the summer.
We offer summer contracts subject to availability. Please contact us at least a month before the end of your contract.
Please contact the site team to check whether your room will be vacated and cleaned by the time you want to arrive. There will be an extra charge for early arrivals.
Béton House offers 24/7 security, CCTV, and key fob access for residents’ safety.
Included - 100Mbps, free for the year Wired and Wi-Fi Internet access will be available throughout the building including your rooms and communal areas.
